If you want a set that looks good together, group the signs by element. Photo tips
The portrait decides how much of you survives
The transformation changes nearly everything around your face, so the face is what carries the likeness. Give the model a clean look at it. The strongest inputs are a single person, looking roughly at the camera, in even light, with the eyes and jawline visible. Sunglasses, a hand on the chin, a hat brim shadow or hair across half the face all remove information the model then has to guess. Group photos are the most common failure: the AI either picks one person and ignores your intent, or blends faces. Two smaller things help as well. Keep your natural hair visible if you can, because the model often builds the headpiece or horns around it. And skip beauty-filter selfies: a smoothed, reshaped face gives the model a face that is not quite yours, and the transformation then drifts further from you than it needs to.

Can I use a group photo or a photo with sunglasses?+
You can upload one, but results are noticeably worse. With several people the model may pick the wrong face or blend features; with sunglasses it has to invent your eyes, which is where likeness usually breaks first. Crop a group photo to one person, and use a photo without sunglasses.
Will the character still look like me?+
Usually yes, recognisably — your face shape and features are kept as the anchor while everything else changes. It is not a guaranteed match, though. The character is re-drawn in a heavy fantasy style and in motion, so expect "clearly you in a costume" rather than a pixel-perfect copy. A sharper, better-lit photo improves it.
