Four ways to make an image
The workbench has three tabs: Generator, Template, and Tools. The Generator tab covers both text to image and image to image, so you never leave the page to switch input types.

Text to image
Describe it, pick a model, download
Type up to 1,500 characters, choose one of six models, set the aspect ratio and resolution, and generate one, two, or three images per run. Results land in your history panel with the prompt attached, so a good one is easy to run again.
- GPT Image 2, Nano Banana, Seedream 5.0, Z-Image, Qwen Image, Wan 2.7 Image Pro
- Ratios 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, and 3:4
- 1K, 2K, or 4K output

Image to image
Start from a photo you already have
Add a reference image next to your prompt in the Generator tab and describe the change: a new background, a different outfit, or a cinematic edit that keeps the same face. GPT Image 2, Seedream 5.0, and Qwen Image accept references; Wan 2.7 Image Pro takes up to nine at once.
- Keep the subject, change the scene
- Up to 9 references on Wan 2.7 Image Pro
- Single-image edit on Qwen Image

Image templates
One tap, a finished look
Templates bundle the prompt and the settings. Upload one or two photos, pick AI Star Selfie, Anime Watercolor Art, AI Action Figure Generator, 3D Cartoon Character, Polaroid Family Photo, or another look, and generate. No prompt writing.
- 15+ photo templates
- Upload one or two photos
- Same download flow as the Generator tab

Image tools
Edit a photo without writing a prompt
The Tools tab holds 23 photo editors: AI Photo Editor, Background Changer, Remove Object from Photo, Image Extender, Photo Upscaler, Clothes Changer, Hairstyle Changer, Product Image Generator, and more. Each one takes an upload and a short instruction.
- 23 native tools
- Upload, describe, download
- Every tool also has its own page on this site

FAQ
Common questions
What is an AI image generator?
An AI image generator is software that turns a written description into a new picture. You type a prompt, the model predicts an image that matches it, and you download the file. LazyKiwi's generator adds reference-image editing, photo templates, and 23 editing tools, and lets you switch between six models from one page.
Is the LazyKiwi AI image generator free?
You can start for free. Every new account receives free credits, and each generation spends a set number of credits that varies by model. When the free credits run out, paid plans add more credits and higher limits. Current plan details and the free allowance are listed on the pricing page.
Which model should I pick for photos, illustrations, or text in images?
For photoreal images, start with Z-Image, Seedream 5.0, or Wan 2.7 Image Pro. For stylized or illustrated work, use Nano Banana. When the image needs readable text, such as a poster or a label, GPT Image 2 and Seedream 5.0 render text inside the frame, and Qwen Image is built for poster layouts. Each model page lists inputs, resolution, and ratios.
Can I upload a photo and edit it (image to image)?
Yes. In the Generator tab, add a reference image next to your prompt and describe the change. GPT Image 2, Seedream 5.0, and Qwen Image accept references, and Wan 2.7 Image Pro takes up to nine. For common edits, the Tools tab has dedicated editors for backgrounds, object removal, outpainting, and upscaling.
What sizes and aspect ratios can I export?
Choose 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, or 3:4 before you generate, and pick 1K, 2K, or 4K output. Maximum resolution depends on the model: Nano Banana, Seedream 5.0, and Wan 2.7 Image Pro go up to 4K, GPT Image 2 up to 2K. Files download as PNG, JPG, or WebP depending on the model.
Do I need to sign up?
Yes. Generation runs on your account so results and credits stay with you. Sign in with Google or an email code; there is no password to set and nothing to install. Once signed in, the workbench opens in the browser on desktop or mobile and your history panel keeps every result.
Can I use the images commercially?
Under the LazyKiwi Terms of Use, subject to your compliance with the terms and payment of any applicable fees, LazyKiwi assigns to you its rights in the images generated for you, and you may use them for personal or commercial purposes. The terms do not warrant that outputs are copyrightable or unique, and outputs on free or trial plans may carry a watermark. Read the terms before publishing.
How is LazyKiwi different from a single model's own app?
Most image apps expose one model. LazyKiwi puts six behind one prompt box, so you can run the same prompt on GPT Image 2 and Seedream 5.0, keep the better result, then edit it with a tool or a template without leaving the page. Video generation lives one tab over in the video generator.
