AIFlip Video

Mirror the clip. Or turn it upside down.

Horizontal flip for a selfie that reads the wrong way, vertical flip for footage that was recorded inverted, or both. You get an MP4 back. Clips up to three minutes.

What it is

A real flip, not a CSS preview.

A player can mirror a file while you watch and still export the original. This re-encodes the pixels: left becomes right, or top becomes bottom, and the file you download is the flipped one. Audio is kept.

How it works

Flip a video in three steps

1

Sign in and upload

MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 80 MB and three minutes.

2

Choose the axis

Horizontal mirror, vertical flip, or both.

3

Download the MP4

H.264, ready to post. The original file is not overwritten.

Axes

Mirror, invert, or both

Horizontal is the usual selfie fix. Vertical is for a camera that was mounted upside down. Both is a 180° rotation in the plane of the frame.

  • Horizontal mirror
  • Vertical flip
  • Both

Encode

H.264 MP4

The result is a normal MP4, not a player trick. Editors and social apps read it as a regular clip.

  • H.264 video
  • AAC audio when the source has sound
  • Faststart for playback

Limits

Three minutes, 80 MB

Longer footage belongs in a desktop encoder. Sign-in is required because the flip runs on our servers.

  • 3 minute cap
  • 80 MB upload
  • Working files expire

FAQ

Questions

Is this the same as Rotate 90°?+

No. Flip mirrors or inverts the frame. It does not turn landscape into portrait.

Will text stay readable?+

A horizontal flip mirrors letters. Use it when you want the scene mirrored, not when you need to keep on-screen type readable.

Why do I have to sign in?+

Re-encoding uses server CPU. A login stops anonymous batch use.

Use cases

When a flip is the whole edit

Front camera text

A sign or a shirt logo that reads backwards in a selfie.

A camera on its head

Action mounts and overhead rigs get inverted. Flip vertical and move on.

Matching a reference

The other shot in the cut is mirrored; this one should be too.
