When you press Generate, LazyKiwi holds the credits shown on the button. When the result is ready the hold becomes a charge; if the generation fails, or you delete it before it finishes, the held credits go back to your balance automatically.

The life of a generation

  • Check — the price is calculated from your model or tool, length and resolution and shown on the Generate button. If your balance is lower, a window offers a plan or a credit pack instead.
  • Hold — pressing Generate moves the credits from available to on hold.
  • Charge — when the result is ready the hold is charged.
  • Return — if the job fails (including when it is blocked by content checks) or you delete it before it finishes, the hold goes back. Very long videos that are built from several segments are settled for what was delivered and the rest is returned.

Where to see your credits

Your balance is in the workbench header. Settings → Credits History lists every grant, hold, charge and return with the balance after each one.

Where credits come from

  • Free plan: topped back up to 40 each month.
  • Subscriptions: the plan's monthly credits each billing cycle (they do not roll over).
  • Credit packs: one-time credits that never expire.

FAQ

My balance dropped but nothing finished yet — why?

Those credits are on hold for a generation that is still running. They are charged if it succeeds and returned if it fails.

Can credits be converted to cash?

No. Credits are a licence to use paid features; they have no cash value (Terms of Use, Section 6).

Can I move credits to another account?

No, credits are not transferable.
