For the best result
- One clearly visible person, not too small in frame, without long stretches where they are hidden.
- A full-body or half-body character image facing the camera, on a plain background.
- Match the framing: a full-body character for a full-body shot.
Common messages
- “Add a video to continue.” / “Add a character to continue.” — an input is missing.
- “Select a person to continue.” — click one of the detected people first.
- “Could not detect people.” — try a clip where the person is larger and clearly visible.
- “Could not replace that person.” — the generation failed; its credits are returned. Try another character image or a different clip.
FAQ
Can I swap more than one person?
Each run replaces the person you select. Run it again on the result to replace another.
Can I use a celebrity or someone else's photo?
Only with the rights to the image and the person's consent; impersonating real people is not allowed (Terms of Use, Section 7).
Is my clip too long?
Character Swap takes 4–15 seconds. Trim longer clips before uploading.
