Turn photos of you and your person into the tear-jerker everyone is posting: one of you turns, the other remembers, and a hug cuts back to a golden memory.
THE STORY BEATS
What is the zombie love story AI trend?
A short film in two halves: a cold, grey present in which one partner has turned, and a warm memory of the two of you. The beats are always the same, which is why it lands.
- The doorway
- Cold blue-grey light in an abandoned house. The survivor, in tears; the partner in the doorway with grey skin and cloudy eyes.
- The moment of recognition
- The zombie stops and tilts its head, as if it remembers. The survivor lowers their hands and opens their arms.
- The embrace and the cut
- They hug, and the film cuts on the embrace, keeping both people in the same place on screen.
- The golden memory
- The same hug in a sunlit field before it happened, laughing, then a wide sunset shot. It ends in the memory, not a cure.
How to make a zombie love story AI video
Our samples were made from two separate photos. Until the two-photo template is in the workbench, use one photo of the two of you in Image to Video.
- 1
Pick the photo
One photo with both of you, faces clear and front-facing. Decide who stays human and who turns.
- 2
Describe the two halves
Open Image to Video, upload the photo and describe the story in a line or two: who turns, the cold doorway, the hug, then the same hug in a warm memory. Swap in places that mean something to you.
- 3
Generate and add music
Generate in vertical 9:16, download, then add a soft piano track or the trending sound when you post.
Which photos work best for a zombie love story AI video?
The whole film depends on both faces staying recognisable through the makeup.
Both faces clear
Front-facing, well lit, no sunglasses — the zombie makeup goes on top of a face it has to recognise.
Similar framing
Waist-up shots of both people keep the embrace natural.
One of you can be a pet
Mum, best friend or dog all work; pets need a clear, front-facing photo.
Everyone agreed
Only use photos of people who agreed to be in the video.

You and your dog
The dog turns, recognises you, and the memory is a run in the park.
